Kata Noi Beach: This beach is less crowded, clean, and has relatively fast and big waves. It requires some level of surfing skills, so it is not recommended for beginners.
Kalim Beach: Kalim Beach has a rocky bottom, and everyone must be cautious when surfing here. It is another challenging spot, and it is best when the wind is calm. The waves here are long and perfect, adding to its charm.
Nai Harn Beach: Nai Harn Beach is similar to Kalim Beach with its relatively big waves and beach breaks. However, it sometimes offers great barrel waves if you’re lucky.
Airport Reef: This hidden beach is located near Phuket International Airport, close to Sirinath National Park. It provides sandy bottoms that challenge surfers’ abilities. On a good day, it is considered one of the most beautiful surf spots in Phuket.
Additionally, there are other beaches on the west coast of Phuket Island that are surfable. These include Nai Yang Beach, Bang Tao Beach, Surin Beach, Kamala Beach, Patong Beach, and Karon Beach.
