Establishment of the Shrine:

In the year 2540 B.E., a group of devotees of the Naga serpent, led by Mrs. Phruesachat Phet Hin, constructed a shrine to venerate the Naga serpent in the Chalermphrakiat community, situated at the Wat Dtai intersection in Chalong. The group of devoted disciples organized a small vegetarian festival within the group.

In the year 2558, the shrine underwent an expansion to accommodate the increasing number of individuals who visited to observe the precepts. It was named “Sam Xian Tong Shrine,” which means “the abode of the three virtuous immortals.” The principal deity of the shrine is Tiew Kong Seng Kun (Huab Ju Gong), the deity responsible for repelling evil. Within the shrine, numerous deities are enshrined for worship, including the deity Guan Yu, the deity Guan Yin Pud Jor, and numerous others. Villagers, merchants, students, and politicians often come to pray for the grant of various wishes. The reputation of Tiew Kong Seng Kun’s sacredness has spread far and wide, including in matters of litigation, trade, and fortune.

Sam Xian Tong Shrine currently organizes a traditional vegetarian festival throughout the tradition period from the first day of the ninth Chinese month to the ninth day of the ninth Chinese month. It opens a vegetarian food donation center for distribution to the public.
