Background:

Pasak Shrine is a small shrine located in the middle of a rice field on the Pasak – Ban Don Road.

According to historical records, in 2515 B.E., Mr. Prom Suebprasit donated the land to build the shrine. The villagers collaborated to construct the shrine. Tea Gun Tai Tae is the Lord of the Shrine.

Later, there were four additional deities, including Li Lo Chia, Bok Chia, Ang Ha Yi, and Eian Tian Song Te. On June 21, 2521 B.E., a new shrine was built to replace the old one, which was built with the help of the villagers. It is currently nearing completion. The design and construction are in accordance with the Chinese pavilion style, akin to other shrines. The principal deity is situated in a seated position. His left hand holds the book Xun Xiu (a seasonal almanac), and his countenance is ferocious with a red face and a lengthy mustache. He is tall, and his right hand holds a halberd.

At Tea Gun Tai Tea Shrine, the most prominent ritual is the oil bath. When the ceremony is over, the villagers will ask for the oil to be used for massaging in order to relieve body aches and pains. It is also believed that the Tea Gun Tai Tea Shrine can help solve life problems and relieve stress.
